Photography, what is it?

For some it is taking a picture of something so you can show others. For me, it is capturing a memory that will last a lifetime. As we go through life, everything that happens only happens one time and then it is gone forever. Sure some things might happen again, but that exact moment will be gone and you can never get it back. That is where I come in. I look to capture that once in a lifetime memory. From weddings, sporting events, concerts, family portraits, to your backyard party, look to me to help you be able to relive those lost moments.

I have been shooting for about 30 years, starting with dad’s camera, firing off roll after roll of film on anything I could find to take pictures of. As time went on, I purchased my own gear and was very happy there until the digital age had me thinking for a long time. I thought, no way could it compare to film. Then I bought a Coolpix camera and absolutely loved shooting digital. After some time, I moved on to pro equipment and sold every piece of film gear I had, and never looked back.

Along the way, I tried many different professions, but none of them felt right for me. When I started to shoot more, I finally realized that this is what I was meant to do. When I show my clients their photos, they overflow with emotion. I was at a point where I created magic with a camera.

I would like to thank the most important people to me, for without them, this would not be possible. First, my wife and best friend Linda, I don't want to think where I would be without you.
